Focus Era ("we", "us") is a focus timer app that helps you build deep work habits. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what we do with it. We try to keep this short and honest.

What we collect

We collect only what's needed to make the app work:

• Email address — to sign you in and sync your progress across your devices.
• Focus session history — task name, duration, completion time, and whether you finished or abandoned. Used to show your stats and earn era progression.
• Preferences — your name, chosen era, theme, durations, blocking lists, and tone setting.
• Anonymized device crash data (if you opt in) — to fix bugs.

We do not collect:

• Location
• Contacts
• Browsing history
• Microphone or camera audio (the camera is only used when you tap "take photo" during a friction quit, and the photo stays on your device — we don't upload it)
• Any tracking or advertising identifiers

How we use it

• To sign you in and remember who you are
• To sync your progress between devices (Mac and iPhone)
• To show you your own stats
• To send you the daily nudge notification (if you've enabled notifications)
